ABOUT 38 WEEKS...

I KNOW... I AM HUGE. BUT HONESTLY WE ARE ALMOST DONE. IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE BEEN PREGNANT FOREVER... BUT ALSO FEELS LIKE IT HAS GONE FAST. DOESN'T MAKE SENSE I KNOW.

SO WE HAVE BEEN TO THE HOSPITAL 3 TIMES ALREADY IN THE LAST WEEK... BUT IT WASN'T FOR CONTRACTIONS OR ANYTHING TYPICAL. I WAS JUST HAVING SOME SUDDEN SWELLING... WHICH I CALLED OUR DOCTOR AND HE SAID TO COME IN AND GET CHECKED OUT. WHICH I HAD TO DO A 24 HOUR URINE COLLECTION. SO IN THE END OF ALL THESE VISITS I AM BORDERLINE FOR PRECLAMSIA... WHICH IS HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, BAD SWELLING, PROTEIN IN URINE, AND HEADACHES. I HAVE ALL OF THOSE... EXCEPT FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, IT IS BARELY HIGH. THEY WILL INDUCE ME IF IT GETS ANY HIGHER.

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I HAVE 2 1/2 WEEKS LEFT.. CRAZY!!!

Mitch and I are SO READY for this baby! We are both suffering from my symtoms... such as not sleeping, mood swings, not being able to freaking walk and a million other things that you dont want to hear about.. haha!!!

We celebrated Mitch's Birthday a couple weeks ago! We started the day with going to early dinner at P.F Changs, (just Mitch and I) mmm which was amazing. Then I had a bunch of friends meet at our house after for a fun casino night. It really surprised me on how well it really went. It really was a lot of fun. Our friends Jeremy and Lauren brought over a roulette table... which I think was the hit of the night. We also had blackjack and Texas hold em which were fun too....!

Pearl Harbor

In August we had the opportunity to go to Hawaii. It was Britt's first time to the islands and my second time. The Coolest thing about our trip is after 13 months of trying to have a baby we were so blessed to be able to conceive about a week before we left for Hawaii. I should have known by Britt's bizarre mood swings that she was preggo but I had started to give up hope by then so it actually didn't cross my mind. It wasn't till a few days after we got home that we found out.

Hawaii was amazing. Loved it. We went to the big island of Hawaii and Oahu. Britt's highlight of the trip was the Waikiki strip in Honolulu. She loved the atmosphere and the shopping. We kept pretty busy on Oahu and did all the touristy things. I showed her where I lived on the north shore and where I worked. Sorry if my blogs suck I am just starting to get into this. haha. Anyway, I enjoyed the big island more than Britt did. It is more remote and rural. Maybe I am just getting old and boring. We were able to stay with my Dad and Novene at their condo just outside of Kona. It was such a fun trip. Enjoy some pics.

OUR VALENTINES DAY!!!

MITCH AND I TOOK IT EASY THIS VALENTINES. WE WENT TO DINNER AT CHUCK O RAMA WITH OUR FRIENDS JEREMY AND LAUREN. THEN MITCH AND I WENT TO THE MOVIE "ABSOLUTELY, MAYBE". IT WAS A GREAT DAY.

CATS GOT INTO PAINT WHILE WE WERE GONE!

So Britt and I just finished up painting the nursery and I wanted to clean up the plastic, tape, paint brushes and paint cans. I picked up all the stuff and put it in my office where the cats currently reside when we are not home. Brittany saw me putting all the crap in there and she told me not to put it in there because the cats would get into it. I told her not to worry about it. Well I guess I am a FREAKING IDIOT because we left the house for 2 hours, came back let the cats out and we saw green paint on Oliver and we both freaked out. Went into the office and Oliver had spilled the one gallon paint can with the lid not secure and green paint spilled everywhere (about a 1/3 of a gallon. Most of the paint got on the plastic but there was a decent amount on the carpet which was still wet so Britt and I were able to get most of it up!!! I should have listened to my wife. They are usually right....especially about house related crap!!!!

Wow... Pregnancy is killing me

WARNING... THIS IS BRITTANY VENTING!!!
I am having a horrible day, everything seems to be wrong with me. I have the worst heartburn that i have ever had in my life. It just burns so bad, haha! Also Lexey seems to be a nonstop jumping bean... I really am greatful to feel her move but she has been hurting me today. Anyway we only have 61 days left till the due date April 13, about 6 to 8 weeks.
Yay.. I can seriously not wait, I am so so so freaking uncomfortable. Also I am annoying Mitch so much. He can not wait for me to be normal again.
Haha now that I got that off my chest........

p.s I am pretty excited for my baby shower which is this Saturday the 16th.

Us for the moment

Mitch and I are very excited to start our family. We have two months left of the long, long journey that we have endured. It definately has been an emotional rollercoaster for Mitch and I, but for me mostly... happy one moment sad the next. But life is going on.

Mitch has been working so hard. He is working his way out of University Parking, and is currently in the process of getting his Securities License. Mitch recently put residential real estate sales on hold due to a very weak Utah market. He is planning on going back to school this Spring/Summer at CCU to finish up his bachelors degree then jump right into his masters program.

I am at the moment just trying to hang in there. Waiting for time to fly by. I do go out with Mitch when he works and help him with paper work. I seriously don't do much these days, beside working with Mitch. We just started Lexey's room. We started painting a little bit ago, the nursury colors are of course orange, green and yellow... But it is a project in the making.
