My sister and i woke up at 7 to make our dad and Mitch breakfast for father's day! We made french toast, eggs, and hash browns. It was great, we then went to early church with the fam. When we got home we ate a great big meal. I hope Mitch had a great first father's day!
2 MONTHS AND SHE ROLLED OVER. MY MOM HAS SEEN HER ROLL OVER A FEW TIMES BUT THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING HER DO IT! I AM SO PROUD... I LOVE HER SO MUCH! SORRY IF THE QUALITY SUCKS, IT IS FROM MY PHONE.
So Marshall and Nany took us to the Secondhand Serenade concert on Wednesday night and it was absolutely sick! Pretty cold for a June night but it was really cool. Check out the video if you are not familiar with the band and I know you have heard their music before. You will have to pause our other music sorry. very very fun night and I did not mention that grandma Marti took care of Lexey for like 7 hours while we were gone. This is the first time Britt and I have done something like this by ourselves since our princess was born!
We first started the day on Saturday going to the parade, which was a lot of fun. Then we went to our ward BBQ at a near by park. Then after we went to the carnival and vendor booths just down the road from where we live. It was a pretty cold and memorable day.

So Sunday evening my dad was about to go pick up my sister Megan from the airport. She was visiting her boyfriend in St. Louis. I thought I would be nice and go with him. It would be some daddy daughter time with my dad which we never have. It was nice to talk to him on the hour ride to the airport from Santaquin.
When we finally arrive at the airport... We park, go in, look at the arrival board. And we cant believe our eyes. The plane was originally supposed to land @ 8:45 but was delayed till 9:55 because they had to go around a horrible storm. My dad and I just stood there forever trying to decide what to do.
We go into a little store to get some drinks and read some magazines. when we came out and stood by the tables that you stand at. We watched a young lady fall to the ground and hit her face. It was so weird. She just tumbled to the ground. We watched for like 45 mins while 6 medics came and checked her out. She kept saying that she was fine and trying to stand up but she couldn't. It turned out that she was taking medication and she drank on the plane and the combination made her seem extremely drunk.
Then on our way back from dropping Megan off at her apt... we decide to get on the university Ave. freeway entrance! You wouldn't guess that the entrance was road blocked by police and flares... haha! We couldn't believe it! We had to go all the way to Springville to get on the freeway. But we finally got home at 12:00 am. But at least we made it one piece!!!!!!!!!!! Fun times fun times!!!
Sorry it is so long.... just had to let everyone know how crazy and weird my Sunday Night was!
